A lot of beef jerky recipes will call for a dehydrator or endless hours in the oven. This is a relatively fast alternative that gives you some great tasting jerky that can go with you anywhere.

Approx 1.5 pounds of beef brisket.
1/2 cup worcheshire sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce or braggs aminos
1/8 tsp cayenne
2 tsp onion powder
1 Tbsp maple syrup
The process of cutting the meat is made easier if you place the brisket in the freezer for about a half an hour or so before you need to use it.
1. Cut beef into strips of about 1/4″ thickness and cut with the grain.
2. Place ingredients above into a pan, mix well, and marinate for 3 hours in covered pan in

excess off)…Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
4. When oven is heated, lay strips of marinated beef on cooling racks
(set over pans to catch the drips) and stick in the oven. Put in oven for 3.5 hours…take
out and done!
Store the jerky in the fridge with paper towels on the bottom in a covered container to soak up excess moisture and keep for a longer period. Feel free to pack in snack bags in advance, store in fridge for an easy grab-and-go protein packed snack that lasts.
