This is a Loba favorite. If you want something that is literally “grab and go,” helps give you some great protein, is satisfying, and is easy to carry – this is it. It’s quick, and you can prepare it in advance. We recommend you get these ingredients in bulk to have on hand.

1 Cup of raw, unsalted cashews
1 Cup of raw, unsalted almonds
1 Cup of raw, unsalted walnuts
1 Cup of raw, unsalted peanuts or filberts
½ cup of dried cranberries or Craisins
½ cup of raisins
½ cup of chocolate chips or m&ms (use this on cold weather trips only & don’t keep in your pocket…or it melts!)
Place all ingredients in a bowl, and mix thoroughly with a big spoon (or your hands!)
Scoop portions into zipper seal “snack size” bags for grab and go individual serving sizes, or place all of the ingredients in an airtight container or large ziplock bag to take for a shared group serving.
Store in the refrigerator in a ziplock bag or airtight container until use if you use the chocolate chips…if not, you can store this mixture anywhere you like, but preferably away from heat for longer durations.
